Each summer, Taconic goes Broadway as campers in each age group present a production to the rest of camp. Taconic musicians, dancers and comedians also participate in talent shows and concerts.

Our Playhouse, with its professionally equipped stage, provides the backdrop for our actors, set and costume designers, lighting, and stage crew to create their magic.

Our talented and professional drama staff directs campers in productions of classics like Grease, Cinderella and Annie. Original works, such as Celebration and Senior Banquet, are collaboratively written and performed by campers.

 

 

 

Stagecraft, costume making, dance and video are activities at camp that work in conjunction with the Theater Arts Department.
